The Full Review:
This Jacket was made for me. Super lightweight and breathable. It has pit zips that can be opened all the way down effectively creating a bomber poncho. There are pockets in all the desirable locations. Did I mention how light it is?? I barely notice I'm wearing it. I've ground my elbows down the ice and there's not even a wear mark on them, no tears, nothing, and still keeps the water out. The Gore-tex fabric keeps you dry in all but consistent downpour conditions. I didn't expect it to stay dry for so long without wetting out. A little care and it's still like new. Super easy maintenance consists of an occasional tumble in the dryer on low heat. I get really hot super fast anytime I move, even with the vents and all zippers closed, I've never had a monsoon inside of it from sweat, I definitely didn't expect that. I sweat a lot. Never a build up of moisture. This jacket does the job I want it to do.
The Good:
Ventilation, breatIt isility, durability, pockets, keeps you dry
The Bad:
It wasn't free
The Bottom Line:
This jacket is perfect for keeping you dry while being extremely active. It's great as a rain jacket or as an outer shell for snow travel. The light weight makes it perfect for an active user such as myself. Love it. Well worth the high price tag.
