Full Review: The NRS inversion is just a drysuit. It shows up to work in a clean Ford 150 with pressed Carhartts and worn work boots. It doesn't flinch when you crash through blackberry thickets. Or snag the tailgate on your buddy's truck. It just keeps on keeping on.
The Triton fabric isn't particularly breathable, but it is durable. This is my go to suit for anything that requires a brushy hike or scrambling. The latex booties aren't my favorite, but they're easier to repair than the fabric booties on other suits. I began using this suit when I was a raft guide. A few years and many swims later, that first Inversion was still keeping on. Take care of your Inversion and it'll take care of you.
The Good List: Durable material. A dry suit is a dry suit.
The Not so Good List: The latex booties are not the best, and the stiff fabric may feel claustrophobic to paddlers wanting flexibility.
The Bottom Line: A good entry level drysuit or a beater suit. It'll keep you dry and the price is hard to beat.
