The Full Review:
I had some high expectations for this board. With the release of the War Pig, the Super Pig is a step up into the all-mountain world. The Super Pig definitely doesn’t lack in the stiffness category. In fact, I feel that it is important that one definitely rides this board shorter than a normal board. For instance, I rode the 148, and it felt like I was making turns on a 158.
I had a hard time controlling this board. Maybe it was because I should’ve been on a shorter board, but regardless it outperforms most humans, I believe. It is a fun ride when you figure it out. If you want something stiff and powerful, this is an excellent board to buy.
The Good:
Amazing edgehold, extremely stable.
The Bad:
Rides bigger than one would expect, so get sizing right!
The Bottom Line:
This is a great board for a rider that prefers something on the stiff and responsive side.
