Full Report: Last weekend the Next Adventure PSC hosted its inaugural Chinook Showdown Spring Salmon derby in support of Heroes on the Water. The warm weather made for a great day to get out on the water and anglers from as far as Southern Oregon and Seattle helped to make this event a huge success. Despite the lack of cooperation from the fish, 5 lucky anglers took home some great prizes that were donated by our amazing sponsors. We also hope that the participants enjoyed their swag bags provided by Next Adventure and the amazing food that Rachel and Nathan prepared.

In all, the event was a huge success and we want to thank all the anglers that participated along with our amazing sponsors. Together we were able to make a donation to the PDX chapter of HOW for over 500.00. While not a huge dollar amount this event was a great community building and fun event just as planned and we hope to run it in the same fashion in coming years.

I would personally like to thank each and every one of you that made it out and hope to see you all again next year (and in a few months for the ORC!).
