3rd Annual Next Adventure Amateur Championships
They say time flies when your having fun, and they're right. The (NAAC) has come and gone one more time and it was definitely one fun filled action packed weekend. Only in its third year, this event has become the Northwest primer Am only disc golf tournament. A event not to me missed, with registration filling up lighting quick from golfers looking forward to a weekend of good company, good food, Pier Park and hopes of becoming a champion. Welcome to the NAAC!
Big thanks to Firefly Disc Promotions. The NAAC wouldn't be what it is without Ryan Gwillim and Steve Carson. It's truly an awesome thing when you get Tournament Directors who know how to raise the bar and make a tourney run super smooth. My favorite new addition this year was the Fantasy disc contest. other than the competition on the course Firefly set up a bracket for anybody who wanted to join in and choose 4 players to earn them points. The winners took home prizes and first place won a innova traveler basket

This year was a blast! I had great time seeing some old friends and played golf with some awesome people. we to got play Pier Park for two beautiful days and you cant beat that. thanks to everyone who came and played/volunteered the event. we wouldn't be able throw Tournaments like the NAAC without the support of the disc community. Next years gonna be bigger and better! till then, hop on over to Blue Lake Park and play the freshly installed par 69 Course. Happy Hukkin folks!
